Suggestions for getting Line-X out of threaded holes?
I didn't realize it until the other day but the guys that did my Line-X also sprayed it in the holes for the bed extender. I don't have the extender but am going to add it. Does anyone have any idea what size hole that is? I was thinking about getting a tap in the correct size and threading it into the holes to cut out the Line-X material.
I'm open to other suggestions if anyone has any.

I would give the local Line-X dealer a call and see what they use on overspray. My guess they have a solvent based cleaner. Both Line-X and Rhino are a urethane based materials.
Another suggestion. Like you thought, if you can get a thread chaser started, that might work. I would heat up the threads a bit to try to soften it a bit.

I had my bed sprayed a year ago when I bought the truck. This summer, I let a friend borrow the truck and he jack knifed a trailer into the bed requiring me to replace the bed. The top of all the bed bolts were under the sprayed in liner.
I was helping with the repairs at the body shop and the owner told me to take a razor blade and cut a circle around the top of the bolts. With a small pick tool, I scratched and the spray on pop'd out of bolt head ( torx drive) so that I could insert the drive and remove the bolts. The body shop owner said the spray in liner stuff doesn't stick well to the Zinc coated bolts. Once the razor blade had cut away the connection to the rest of the bed, the stuff just peeled off.
I'm not sure what your threads are. But you might be so lucky to have the material just lift off if you try a small area like I did.

Thanks for all the responses folks. I actually meant a thread chaser instead of a tap but it was late, and , well you know.
Anyway, Rick when they did mine, they took the tie-downs off and the bed bolts out and then put it all back together when they were finished. I just failed to tell them about the holes for the extender. I don't know if all of the Line-X folks do this, but the guys where I got mine done did.
