does the auto window down driver side also put the window up to
if i remember right my 2006 f150 screw larry did oh do i miss that truck

 

Not in the '09 it doesn't. I don't think any F150 from 2004 to 2010 had auto up windows. I know my 2004 didn't and my brother-in-laws 2005 doesn't. I don't know about the 2011's.

 

sorry no auto up, nor did the older trucks (pre-09) either. I think they finally did add it for 2011.

That would be a "nice to have" feature. My old VW (I know I know...) had auto up and down on all four windows. There's probably a mod out there that can do this.

 

My wife's '08 Taurus X has driver's window auto up and my parent's Toyota Vista has it on all windows. It's great; I just wish I had it.

 

They added that for the 2011's? Cool! I better add that to the list of reasons I'm making for why the '06 needs to be traded in.

 

the 2011 ford taraus limited has auto driver and passenger windows, i should no,made a big mistake oct.2010 traded 2006 f150 larait screw sb.
with all extras left on it for the car truck only had 16000 miles.
thank god i came back life, after 3 days traded the car back for my 2009,
f150 screw larait. lost my shirt but thats ok a got a truck back

 

I always heard that it was a safety thing to NOT have auto up. Imagine having your head out the window backing, or whatever and accidentally hitting that auto up switch. If the 2011 have it, then I guess it never was a safety reason after all

 

I guess that does make sense as a good reason not to have auto up but... I just always wanted it.

 

My 2007 Mustang GT has the auto down and auto up feature.

 

The auto window up feature has a current sensing safety mechanism. It the system senses an increase in current, the windows will automatically roll down.

 

I remeber cranking my windows up. No complaints here!
