Hey all,

I have a slight ticking in the engine area ( only when I am in motion and punch it ) At idle its fine. Someone said it could be the lifters. It has 53,000 miles . Do you think that could be the issue? Has anyone had this issue?

And.............


I need a rear bumper. Anyone selling them?

I had a ticking that sounded like an exhaust leak. I took it to the dealer and they checked it out, said it was normal. I didnt believe them so they let me drive a few other ones they had there and they all sounded the same. Seems that it is just the way that the engins sounds.

 

It's a PITA, but I'd check all your plugs and make sure they're tightened to spec. There have been issues with spark plugs working themselves loose.

Just to let you know your engine doesn't have lifters its an overhead cam engine.

What the others suggested is dead on .
also chk the serpentine belt tensioner and the plastic fan for cracks .
