an IP and a set of 'delphi' injectors, I'm confident in the quality of the pump but can't recollect any feedback on this brand of injectors?
evidently new and @ $8.40 each seems a good buy. any caveats I should be aware of?
thanks Tom
Delphi injectors are a good brand but they are only as good as the rebuilder. The ones you bought i am guessing are not new. If done properly they will last a long time, if rebuilt fast and cheap, their quality is just that.
The injectors seem to be a mixed bag. I got 8 almost brand new looking Stanadyne gauges, with new o-rings and copper washers. Some guys got some that were kinda beat up.
the part description stated 'new'.
there was re-mand listed also at about $13+ a bit, stated remand. can't recollect brand of.
thanks for the feedback, Tom
im looking forward to hear about your experience LCAM with new ip and injectors being that you have a bunch of mismatched coded ones in there now.im more exited than you are to just hear about the power and fuel economy increase.get them suckers in there!
now if i can just convince ya to unlock the power hog engine fan full time next.......
i cant say for sure, but man i swear i gained power just ditching my free flowing fan(bad clutch.)can it really be so,that id actually feel that or is it all just in my head.future mpg readings will tell the story i guess.
I paid like $6.75 a piece for mine, new BB-code Deplhi injectors, o-rings and copper seals included
My order was placed on Jan 31. Injectors shipped out next day from Springfield IL.
You just got to keep gloating don't you!! I ordered my injectors on the 30th and still don't have the damn things!! I'm sure I'll get 8 beat to hell injectors in a greasy bag!

Yeah, power and increase on a truck that gets fired up once a week for half an hour if that, and hasn't moved an inch in over a month now... lol Odd thing with them mismatched injectors tho, is they gave me 15-16 mpg pulling a 30ft enclosed car hauler running with the 18-wheeler pack on the interstate, and with no trailer and no significant load in the bed the truck would pull 19-20 mpg steady. I really don't know how she went from this to the OK power but rather poor fuel economy I have now, in such a short time and without racking up gazillion miles...

Oh, well you can forget about that - I only run the thing at 1900-2000 rpms, and at that speed whether the fan is locked or not don't seem to mater much, at least to my truck.

Actually I ain't gloating right now, just feeling smug with myself - there is a difference
