2004 F150 Driver mirror tilts
Hi everyone and let me say thanks in advance:
I have a 2004 F150 FTX. When going down the road at speeds around 65 mph the mirror starts turning down from the wind on it. It is a manual mirror and I have tried looking under the mirror for adjustments. Is there any way to tighten the mirror so it doesn't start moving down at higher speeds?
Thanks

Mine does that too, its an XL with manual mirrors. There isn't an adjustment and I noticed that it only does it when its cold and when your driving into the wind. The only fix i know of is when the wind pushes it down too far, crank the window down and push it back. Annoying but Ive lived with it for the last 6 years.

Thanks Mercman. I'm using a dang bungee cord right now to hold in place when I go out on the hwy. temperature doesn"t seem to affect mine, cold/hot doesn't matter, when I get to about 65 it starts pushing down. Been putting off installing a new one but I guess I will just go ahead and do it.
Thanks
Thanks
