Thinking of selling my truck.

Thinking of selling my truck.
Due to medical reasons I may be selling the truck and it being a stick and me having re-occurring surgery on the left side.
I like my truck especially getting a lot better gas mileage than a gas engine with the truck weighing the same.
I don't really tow with it like it's made for since I've had it going on 3years.
The truck only has about 114k on it with a 3in Tymar ceramic coated down pipe no kitty. The other things that are done is the gauges turbo, pyrometer, and low oil press gauge installed.
Still not sure if I should sell it or what I should sell it for.

Thanks I hope my surgery goes well this time as a re-occuring hernia x3 isn't good. I do like my truck but having two ext cab trucks plus kids getting older make it harder for travel at times.
A nice crew cab would be cool but a gasser would be more on fuel costs and not as much as maintenance on ours.

Last week I was driving 35 miles down the interstate to the jobsite we were working on.
Dodge 1500 crew cab 2 wheel drive with a six speed with 3.73 gears and a 4.7 under the hood.
I drove the same miles as it did every day with my F350 crew cab E4OD 4x4 with 4.10 gears.
The Dodge took 77 dollars to fill up Thursday morning.
Mine took 52 dollars to fill up Thursday night.
Smaller lighter 2 wheel drive gas truck made the trip one less day for 25 dollars more.
I can't really see where the cost savings is with a gas power truck over a diesel.
I paid for the extra required synthetic oil to do a change in one week driving 70 miles a day.
The next week would more than take care of the filters.
That leaves a lot of weeks that are putting money in my pocket.
And my ride had a lot more class.

This is one of the reasons I went and dropped a PS into my truck. I had the 5.8 gasser in mine originally. For one, I was getting 12mpg MAX on the highway with my 94 F-350 CC Dually. To make things worse, I had "0" power.. None, nill.. I couldnt haul anything a 1 ton dually was designed for.
So.. crappy mileage, crappy power.. and to add to the mess.. 200,000 miles was going to be that engines best. At 129,000 it acted so tired, I doubt it would have seen 150,000!
With a diesel, I pay slightly more per gallon, but will gain lots more miles per tank! I will also have a long lived engine with fewer repairs. The best part.. no matter what I decide to haul or pull, I wont have to fret about my truck being capable!
Keep the PS! You will regret it later if you dont!
