AIC

Wondering what the best AIC is for the 97' PSD. I noticed one on purediesel but the review says there it is problematic with the 97'

Thanks!

I like the OEM option myself. You can sometimes snag them on Ebay for about $150. I wouldn't pay any more than that for an OEM one.

Looks like the one I have.

The complete control module kit comes with: Mounting Bracket, Wire Harness, Instruction Manual and Quick Reference Guide

• Connects to the factory wiring harness connector under the instrument panel and digitally interfaces with and commands the Powerstroke engine computer.
• Features LCD readout of RPM and voltage
• Ideal for power take-off (PTO) applications or any application with high auxiliary engine loads (electrical or mechanical)
• Use to increase vehicle alternator output for continuous electric loads (A/C, lights, power inverters, etc.)

Yes it is, but I wouldn't pay that price for it without the mount and wiring harness... its basically useless without the wiring harness! I may know of one available for that price, I'll see if the guy still has it and let you know.

I have a line on one for $200 with the bracket and harness just like the one you pictured. If you want it just let me know and we can work something out.
I do suppose it's worth mentioning though that you can do a home brew idle controller for much, much less than $200.
