cd player

I have a 2002 f150 supercrew that I bought recently, I can't get the dang cd player to work. It won't read the discs, and they are not burned ones. Any one have an idea what to do with it?

Probably your best bet is to shop around for a good used one to replace it.

I put one in my truck out of a Harley that holds 6 CDs.

Go to Walmart and get an install kit and wiring harness. Then get an aftermarket radio from your favorite store and be done.

I second Fox. Aftermarket with an IPOD hookup is definitely the way to go. I personally prefer pioneer myself.

Obviously everyone has there personal preference.
All you guys are into the newer technology.
But, I don't need an MP3 ,Ipod , satellite. And I certainly don't need to be adjusting my system from the back seat.(remote)
Also , with the cheep a$$ OEM unit, I don't have to worry about someone breaking out my window to steal it.

I did add a 750W amp and 2 -10" subs for a little base. That's all I need.

I still have the radio and 6 CD changer out of my 2002. Put a radio in that plays MP3s on a usb chip. Sell cheap. PM me if interested.
