Pics of possible 6.9 replacement a,b,c,d

Seller claims it's an 87. Only tell tale sign I can see is the later oil filler neck. I got some pics of it today. though I would let the vets take a look and tell me what you think. Looks like a leaky rocker but thats fixable. Its a bit dirty. nothing that a good stiff wire brush wont clean up though. thoughts?

Cant tell what GP's it has from the pics. I wont be running a turbo. Not unless I can get one cheap and it improves MPG's.

replacement 6.9 pics part d

Sorry for the multiple threads. this really is the last one. These are both a top down view to try and get eyes on the GP,s whether they are 86 or 87.

That's a banks sidewinder up-pipe. Finishing the turbo off would be +$2,000 easy.

its the same intake and exhaust manifolds for na or turbo. only difference there is the y pipe instead of the crossover and up pipe like you have now.

Yes, and no - for $2k he can get a brand new turbo setup, no need to finish off anything. However, there are often turbo setups on the intarwebs (ebay, craigslist) that have the turbo and pedestal and all that, but no up-pipes, and so they sell for cheaper - if he can find one of those, then he will score good.

Yup, just pull the pipes it has now, and install a Y-pipe instead, but save the turbo pipes for when you find a turbo to go with them.

Oh, I figured as much, just giving you a way to identify the thing if you actually drive to where the seller is and look at it in person.

Sorry man, can't see no plugs in that mess. Tell you what tho, that glowplugs controller with the two yellow and one red and one green and some other wires on it sure looks like the rectangular solid-state thing newer trucks got, which would make this engine an '87.

That thing has the typical Ford power steering pump. Like my 7.3 has

But my '87 6.9 has I guess an older model pump, looks like the older GM ones.
