Intercooler removal

I'm having my turbo rebuilt because of blue smoke and compressor wheel hitting housing. My IC boots are oil soaked. I was wondering if it would be worthwhile to remove the IC and flush the oil out. I don't know if there is any oil in it or not. I'm doing a CCV re-route and would like to have a clean air intake system. I don't think my seal was leaking on the compressor side, can it leak? Does the A/C condenser need to be removed to remove the IC? Evac needed?
Thanks!

You do not need to disconnect the AC condenser. If you want to read directions on how to remove the cooler ahead of time, go the Banks website and look up the installation guide for their aftermarket kit. It is pretty detailed. Just don’t get carried away and start drilling or modifying your truck for the installation of their kit.
