turn signal cam

My 1977 F350 has a nylon return cam around its steering shaft (non-tilt steering column). This trips the fingers on the turn signal switch when the steering wheel returns to center after a turn. Does anyone know the Ford part number for this cam? And is the metal cam listed by Dennis Carpenter and others a replacement for the nylon version or a wrong listing? Thanks for your help.

I know you can find a replacement in the 'HELP'' sections of parts stores also ....
