The Badass Ford Trucks of the ‘Mint 400’
Show trucks, vintage trucks, racing trucks, pre-runners, and bro trucks, are some of the types of trucks you’ll find at the insane “Great American Road Race”—the Mint 400.
Most of us are content driving our stock and good looking F-150s around town, and some of us may even throw in a wheel and tire set, window tint, and if you’re way cool, a 2 inch lift. But no, there are some of us that can’t be happy unless they’re in an armored vehicle with 165 off-road lights and sitting 6 feet off the ground.
That’s exactly what you’ll see at the Mint 400. While there will be plenty of show trucks parked with the only purpose of grabbing peoples attention, the majority of participants will actually take their badass trucks into the desert and find out what they’re made of. Crazy, I know…
Categories vary from Vintage for trucks model 1990 and older, Pre Runners, which are typically modified budget racers, Chase Trucks, which are more like super cool and modified support trucks with spares and stuff, and the 1450 Class, which are race-only vehicles. Oh, and of course, the Bro Trucks, which don’t need an explanation.
This year’s Mint 400 is scheduled for March 12, and we can’t wait to see what kind of senseless crap takes place!
