With the Bronco and Ranger Rumors Confirmed, All We Have to Do Is Wait…

Ford is officially on a roll, as Joe Hinrichs, Ford Motor Company President of the Americas confirmed the Ranger and Bronco comeback to the United States. Therefore continuing the tsunami of news that began last week, as Ford confirmed an F-150 and Mustang Hybrid.

With nearly packed Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, the world’s press expected Ford to have other big news besides their already-flaunted 2018 Ford F-150. First on stage was Hinrichs, followed by Bill Ford, and eventually CEO Mark Fields to discuss Ford’s plans for the future. Of course, what everyone wanted to hear came rather early, as the top executives wasted no time to get to the point.

“We’ve heard our customers loud and clear. They want a new generation of vehicles that are incredibly capable yet fun to drive.” Said Joe Hinrichs, Ford’s president of The Americas. “Ranger is for truck buyers who want an affordable, functional, rugged and maneuverable pickup that’s Built Ford Tough. Bronco will be a no-compromise midsize 4×4 utility for thrill seekers who want to venture way beyond the city.”

There you have it. No more rumors! As a result, Ford will add these two iconic names to their American vehicle portfolio, again. Surely this will please fans who’ve been anxiously waiting. The Blue Oval promised to build both vehicles at Ford’s Michigan Assembly Plant in Wayne, Michigan. Such move isn’t only smart for public perception, but also important given Presiden-elect Trump’s Twitter vendetta against auto manufacturers.

Buyers should expect the Ford Ranger in 2019, and the Ford Bronco by 2020. Ford did not release photos, specificiations, or any other materials regarding these vehicles.
