11-Year-Old Pilots F-150 to 5th Place During Mud Bog Race!
Most 11-year-olds are interested in things like smart phones and social media, not strapping up to race trucks and entering races. In fact, according to various studies, not even a whole lot of teens are interested in hopping behind the wheel of vehicles nowadays.
Thankfully, this video-documentary of an 11-year-old girl by the name of Austin will give you hope for future generations, and serve as some sort of testament that kids can do amazing things.
Not only is Austin capable of driving a wild 1997 Ford F-150 dubbed the “Shotgun Express” through a mud pit, she does so quite competently. Austin managed to finish 5th overall out of 8 entries on the race featured in this video by myyota85. The best part is that she came within spitting distance of her Dad’s time, recording a 6.075 second finish compared to his 6.002!
So next time your kid won’t put his or her smartphone down, maybe you can show them that they are capable of doing something much more productive with their time. They could be having fun and learning cool skills. If that doesn’t interest them, just tell them that it’d make for some awesome Instagram posts!
