Color Pallette

We've known for a few months now that the 2021 model year would bring about some changes to the perennial best-selling Ford F-150. But these changes are more evolutionary than revolutionary, with a total redesign still a few years away. Apparently, however, those minor changes even relate to the colors buyers can choose from with the 14th generation of Ford's F-Series pickup. We know this because the F-150 14th Gen Forums recently stumbled upon the lineup over at Automotive Touch Up, which already has a list of hues available.

Three New Colors

While these colors haven't been officially confirmed by Ford, this information seems pretty legitimate. Among the list of existing colors, there are three new ones that are rather notable as well - Antimatter Blue, Carbonized Gray Metallic, and Space White Pearl. These colors are nice additions to an already expansive palette that covers the entire spectrum of hues.

Out of this World Blue

Antimatter Blue is quite dark, to the point where it looks a lot like good old fashioned Midnight Blue. In fact, it seems like it'll almost look black depending on the lighting (or lack thereof). Plus, its name is a nod to modern physics and a pretty cool reference to something that doesn't exist in our particular universe.

Shades of Gray

Gray remains one of the most popular colors on new vehicles in general, and Ford is adding yet another shade in 2021 in the form of Carbonized Gray Metallic. This color replaces the outgoing Magnetic Gray and is also quite dark. We're betting it'll be a popular choice, just like its predecessor.

White but Gray

Last but not least, we have Space White Pearl, which actually looks pretty gray from the sample provided. But we'll reserve judgment for when we get to see the paint in person. It's also a slight variation from the existing Star White Pearl, which carries on for the 2021 model year.

Carryover Colors

Other than these three colors, the rest of the 2021 F-150's lineup should look familiar to Ford fans. The carryover hues include Oxford White, Star White Pearl, Race Red, Kodiak Brown Metallic, Stone Gray Metallic, Lucid Red Pearl, Smoked Quartz Metallic, Velocity Blue Metallic, Guard Metallic, Lead Foot Gray, Iconic Silver Metallic, and Agate Black Metallic.

Plenty of Options

One thing's for sure - F-150 fans won't lack for choices when it comes to colors on their shiny new 2021 models. Nor other configurations and options, which figure to be plentiful. And as soon as that information inevitably leaks out, we'll be sure and pass it along as well.
