This Ford F-150 stalled out on the tracks at the worst possible time.
Painful Sight
Wrecks are bad news no matter how you slice it, but for hardcore automotive enthusiasts, losing a beloved vehicle is one of the worst possible things that can happen to us. Thus, it pains us to even look at this poor, mangled Ford F-150 that recently collided with a train in a terribly unfortunate incident that took place in Louisa County, Virginia recently.

Horrible Luck
According to Virginia State Police and WRIC News, the pickup was traveling down the road when it stalled out on the railroad crossing, which is about as bad as bad luck can get. Making matters worse, a train came barreling down the tracks shortly thereafter, which led to a pretty bad collision - for the truck, at least.

Serious Damage
The engineer of the CSX train saw the F-150 sitting on the tracks and tried to stop, but as we all well know, trains don't exactly stop on a dime. He was unable to avoid crashing into the pickup, causing serious damage in the process, even after applying the brakes as much as possible.

No Injuries
Luckily, the owner of the pickup was able to get out and away from the truck before it was struck by the train and as a result, no one was injured in this unfortunate wreck. Save for the poor F-150, of course, which if probably headed to the scrap yard now.

Freak Accident
Generally, when trains hit vehicles, it's because the driver chose to go around barriers, foolishly. But in this case, it was just plain old bad luck that led to yet another crash, which unfortunately had to involve a nice older truck that can't be so easily replaced.
