Heavily Modified Bronco Takes Advantage of Booming Market
The owner of this Bronco threw a catalog of upgrades at it.

The sixth-generation Ford Bronco was designed from the start to be a modular vehicle, meaning that it's incredibly easy to modify. The Blue Oval had the foresight to do this because, well, it knew that Bronco owners are more likely than most to modify their vehicles, and that has certainly proven to be true since the SUV's release. We've seen our fair share of cool, modified Broncos in recent months, including this heavily upgraded example owned by Bronco6G member SROC3.

Exterior Upgrades
On the outside, that process began with the addition of eight Rigid Pocket Fog lights, two of which are equipped with LAMIN-X yellow films for a cool look. Down the sides, we see a set of DV8 rock sliders that also double as side steps, which help make getting in and out of the SUV easier while also protecting its bodywork.

Flipping Back
Up top, the owner added a Bestop Sunrider for the front panels, which gives him the ability to quickly and easily flip it back and enjoy the nice weather, then flip it back down if a rain storm pops up. Up front, a hood deflector is a rather simple upgrade, but one that also looks pretty darn good, too.

Suspension Upgrades
Underneath, the suspension has been fortified with the addition of an Eibach Pro Lift Kit, Johnny-Joint Rear Trailing Arms, and an ICON Track Bar, all of which apparently improved the ride quality by a significant margin. "RIDES way nicer and feels more stable than the stock Sasquatch," the owner notes. "Smooths out road bumps and is also firmer with better handling on the road. Less body roll, less dive and squat."

Peace of Mind
From there, the Bronco owner added a set of BroncBuster Braces for the tie rods, which gives him a little peace of mind when out on the trails, since this is a known weak spot. Meanwhile, a set of 1.5-inch spacers help the Bronco's new set of 17-inch satin charcoal RTR EVO 6 wheels fill out the wheel wells perfectly.

Moving Inside
Since this is a Big Bend-trimmed Bronco, it didn't have much underbody protection like higher trims. Thus, the owner installed a full set of skid plates from RCI before moving to the inside. There, he upgraded all of the SUV's speakers before adding a Pedal Commander and going into ForScan to add all of the GOAT modes and eliminate the dreaded "double honk."

Future Plans
While this Bronco is now far better than it was before - at least in its owner's mind - he isn't done modifying it just yet. In fact, he has plans to add a modular front bumper mount and Warn EVO winch in the near future, as well as perhaps a full coilover suspension. Overall, this is a great example of why the Bronco is so popular to modify - making it your own is a piece of cake, thanks to a burgeoning aftermarket.
