2026 Fox Factory Black-Widow F-150: The Lobo Ford Should Offer
Regular cab, supercharged V8, leather interior, slammed to the ground, with wider wheels and tires, this Fox Factory Black Widow F-150 is a REAL street truck.
Building a Better Street Truck?
The 2026 Ford F-150 Lobo debuted essentially as a spiritual successor to the old SVT F-150 Lightning, with sporty looks and a lowered suspension. However, there was just one thing missing - any sort of power upgrade, as Ford is telling customers to simply purchase something like a supercharger kit from its official catalog if they crave such a thing.
However, the 2026 Fox Factory Black Widow F-150 takes that formula a step further with some even beefier upgrades, coupled with the same kind of sporty style as the Lobo. Here's what makes this a potentially superior option for those in the market for a street-pounding pickup.
Exterior
On the outside, Fox Factory's Black Widow F-150 features its own distinctive look thanks to upgrades including a unique front splitter, a rear spoiler, a "Spider" grille, trim, and accents. The pickup rolls on a set of 24-inch wheels wrapped in 305/40 tires, giving it a pretty subdued yet sinister appearance. Plus, not only can you get it as a four-door crew cab, but you can also get it with two-door regular cab coolness!
Interior
Inside the cabin, one will find custom diamond-stitched seat covers with Black Widow embroidery, along with red interior lighting and Black Widow puddle lights. These aren't world-shifting upgrades, but they're enough to give the Black Widow F-150 a premium look and feel inside.
Suspension
In terms of suspension, Fox Factory gives the Black Widow F-150 a Ridetech performance coilover system that helps deliver big improvements in the handling department, without sacrificing comfort. It also effectively lowers the ride height by three inches up front and 5.5 inches in the rear, making for a far sportier look than the factory pickup has to offer.
Engine Options
As is the case with the Lobo, Black Widow F-150 customers can opt to stick with the regular old 5.0-liter Coyote V8, which makes 400 horsepower and 410 pound-feet of torque. However, one can also opt to add a Whipple supercharger to the mix, which lifts output to 810 horsepower and 600 pound-feet.
Capability
With that supercharger on board, the Black Widow F-150 managed to rip off a best quarter-mile pass of 11.56 at 121 mph in Hot Rod's own testing at the track, which is pretty stout. However, what's more impressive is that one doesn't have to give up much in terms of capability to get that kind of speed - in fact, the truck still retains its factory hauling and towing abilities, according to Fox Factory.
Pricing
The 2026 Fox Factory Black Widow F-150 can be had in regular cab guise with a starting price tag of $74,200, or as a SuperCrew for $81,650, sans options. One can choose from several wheel color options, but adding the supercharger will tack another $14,995 on to the sticker price. Regardless, the Black Widow is a compelling alternative to the Lobo, and perfect for those who want a fun around-town pickup.
