Question Sterling 10.5 Rear Hub Seal Source

Good day folks, been a while since I've posted here. Have run into a bit of a snag.

Blew the RR brake cylinder in my 99 F350 SRW 7.3L 4x4 ZF-6. Sterling 10.5 rear end. The brake rotor was fused to the hub, so had to remove the hub assy to get the rotor off. Success there, now in re-assy mode. Ordered seal and o-ring in a kit from
Amazon Amazon
(prob the first mistake), the o-ring is correct. However the seal (claims to be part 2C3Z-1177-AA) has a much too small ID to fit on the spindle.

Most of the part numbers I see referenced here and via GPT have a 2.94-2.95 ID, however mine is 3.13. According to GPT there are some cross-reference issues in databases between the Sterling 10.5 and the 10.25, making it appear that the seals are interchangeable when actually they are not. GPT claims the 2.94-5 seals will not work on the 3.13 spindle.

Of course the local Ford dealership shop is closed today.

Does anyone have a link/source for this seal that is confirmed to be 3.13, or can validate whether the 2.95 seal is indeed functional on the 3.13 shaft?

Thanks much in advance!

Make sure part of the old seal still isn’t on your spindle, most of the time when you pull off the hub the inner part of the seal will stay on the spindle and the other half stays in the hub.

Your part number is correct, as the other person said, make sure the inner diameter isn't still seated on the spindle.
