Have some questions about new truck

Just traded the wife's 2018 F150 for a 2025 and have a few questions about things I noticed last night.

1. What is the skeletonized plastic valance type thing that is loosely mounted behind the main valance? Didn't notice anything attached to it but it's hard to get under the truck with how low the front is. Between this plastic piece and what I believe to be radar boxes at each corner it doesn't look like I'll be able to shorten up the valance.

2. We always install a leveling kit to give the truck a better stance and allow for slightly bigger tires. Will the leveling kit have any effect on the sensors in the front for the radar system? The blue cruise is expired and we have no interest in reactivating it.

3. This is more wanting an opinion from you guys. The rear axle is covered in surface rust(kind of weird for a truck with less that 20k on it) and initially I was going to paint it with rust converter but since I will keep everything coated with fluid film is it even worth it to have nice paint underneath?

Other than that the truck is nice and my wife really likes it. Unfortunately I don't like all the tech and need to figure out how I can make my 2019 Super Duty last another 30yrs until I'm either dead or too old to care. Lol

It is a valance that comes down at speed for better fuel mileage ... does it work? I can't say ... but I have seen videos with GoPros that show what it does come down. Does it help with fuel?????? No idea.

Even 1 size up on tires will screw with the CCM on the new ones. It messes with the horizontal alignment of all things which requires the drive cycle to program. The dealer will not be able to help with it and regardless of miles it will be customer pay - 1st step in the pin point test is does it have a lift or oversized tires - yes? Return to factory. You'll need someone with Forscan to program the tiee size
