Anyone know if you can buy a stripe kit for the free wheeling package anywhere. Am looking for one for a 1978 F-150 short box & would like the chromatic stripe kit if possible. Thanks

 

The striping kits had a 1 year shelf life.

You need to take a photo or some pic to a Pin-striping company to duplicate it in vinyl chromatic or even have a paint shop paint it on.

 

I guess this means there is no kit available

my 78 is orignaly a free wheeling truck and well i wanted to do the same thign but i would need bunch of measuremnets and eveything

 

I have a photo of a free-wheeling model truck if you want a copy.
I also have a brochure pic on my ClubFTE website.

I dont know of anyone making them,I have a 1977 f150, orange,with the factory stripes, orange/blue on an orange truck,would be happy to send you pics,as its for sale. Oh,I also,for anyone interested,have an unrestored 79 bronco. It has the stripe kit,and it was ordered as a seperate option on mine I think. as the truck is strangly optioned. Chrome package,push bar with fog lamps,black mirrors, standred wheels. This bronco is NOT for sale. happy to send pics,stripes are orange on a black truck. scarey4wd@aol.com,510-697-2515
