installing antirattle kit.

so here is my way of installing the vintique kit.Boy,does it make a difference????
someone else will come with better ideas and tools for it.its a PITA

Nice hammer !!! I can see your method works well with a truck with old worn patina but that application on a truck with a custom paint job would be a little scary .

i was going to say you can use leather or rubber where you dont want it to rub.

The problem I had was getting all the clips in the right locations. We need a pattern to take the guesswork out of it.

he anti-rattler kits I got for my 48 were Vintique. I found the invoice today. I ordered them from Truck and Car Shop in Orange CA.They cost me $29 plus $11 shipping. They were already bent for the hand hold to use for shutting the door. I had some from Carpenters but scraped them after trying to shape them. I posted a picture of them and thought someone had asked about them. Larry. Web site is (truckandcarshop.com) I have the part # 48-17850 48-52 FORD WINDOW WEATHERSTRIP $29.00.+++++++

Ross i used my old strips but you are right we need a pattern or they should attach the clips for easy installation
