It appears that the detent pin broke in my mirror. Now when the mirror extends, it goes past the normal position and actually lays all the way forward. I googled the p/n PC3B-17682-BHF51BX. I looked at Ebay, but the p/n's don't match. Contacted ford it would be around $1200 for a completely new mirror. Everything else in the mirror works fine.....Blis, heat, light, camera, adjust of the top mirror, extend, and the retraction motor. Does anyone know where I could source one or one to part out.

I had to have one replaced on my 2018 under warranty. If they are quoting $1200 you are actually doing good as the repair I signed off on was $1850. Sux I know. But there is so much going on in that mirror this not just a mirror any more. Try Rock Auto, maybe even a salvage yard. Good luck.
Try 1aauto dot com as well. When I needed a mirror for a Silverado they had all kinds of replacements with and without all the options.
The one I ended up buying was good quality.
