I had a 240 in my '65 F100 2WD. I am using a 1V carb. I replaced the original exh. mnflds with the efi set of exh. mnflds. The engine really liked that it could breath. It was like there was lots more power. I have two plain jane mufflers, then two short pipes that turn b4 the pass rear tire. Less back pressure .
I would not put the restricting one port exh mnflds back on. You will like the power increase of the efi exh. mnflds.
