Every passenger side exhaust manifold that i have seen in the junkyards is cracked, so i am sharing my budget results.
I used Quiksteel with horrible results. So instead of buying a new Passenger side manifold from Jeff's Bronco Graveyard for $105 + shipping, i tried Inferno.
There is a bias in my method, so read into it as you want and you may get different results.
Quiksteel- i applied it as directed, about 3/16" thick and let it dry 24 hours.
Inferno- i applied it about 1/8" thick on a used junkyard manifold and let it dry uninstalled for 1 week.
After 3 days
The quiksteel failed within days of application.
The inferno has lasted for the last 3 weeks.
Both are less than $9.
I also just applied some Inferno to a pinhole where my exhaust "Ys", im going to let it set for an hour then drive it as needed, see if it holds
The manifold with QuikSteel was run on the engine for about a month, but failed after 3 days. Incidently, i also repaired a pinhole in the exhaust with QuikSteel and it failed.
The Inferno manifold is currently installed, for 3 weeks.
