2022 Platinum LED Headlight Conversion Issue on 2020 F-350 XL
I am attempting a LED conversion of an OEM 2022 Ford Platinum LED projector headlights into a base-model 2020 F-350 XL using BlackFlames customs conversion harness. I have confirmed that my headlight control modules are brand new, correct factory replacements, but my lower projectors (low beams) still refuse to light up, while the high beams, and turns work perfectly.
Diagnostics & Troubleshooting Completed:
- Fault Codes: B14E5:01 and B14E7:01 (General Electrical/Circuit Failure).
- FORScan Programming: Used Blackflame Customs, and finally this forum for help in completing the programming. Successfully ran and competed the BdyCM Local Interconnect Network (LIN) Initialization command. (Still haveing same issue)
- Module Reset: Performed a hard network sweep and battery disconnect to reset the BCM's internal FET circuit breakers.
- Physical Voltage Verified: I am now getting a stable 12.4V–12.6V DC output directly at the factory truck plug under manual operation.
- Wiring Check: Verified all harness pin positions and terminal tension are structurally sound.
Is there anything else on the vehicle programming or wiring side that I could be missing before I pull these housings back out for bench testing?
Thank you for your technical guidance!
