86 Bronco 300 DS2 wire harness upgrade

So I converted to DS2 several years ago with a junk yard harness but decided to buy the new harness pictured below because I havent had oil pressure or coolant gauges hooked up. I got it started and running but am having trouble wiring my gauges. Please take a look at the pictures and tell me how I should tie it all in. Thanks team.

Used the plug from the wall to to module. Last harness linked between the module and harness.

I know it’s a mess but I’d like to have it all clean

So 86 would have been a feed back system using the TFI set up.
When you removed the computer you cut out the temp & oil sender wires and you should not have touched them.
You will need to go back to the main truck harness and find the 2 wires you cut and run them to the senders.
They should be the only 2 that you cut IIRC and the oil wire that tee'd to the computer.
Used a test light to check the cut wires, key on, and 2 should blink they are gauge wires. Ground each one to see what sender they need to go to.

BTW if you started at the computer and worked your way out you would have seen what wire at the oil sender needed to be cut.
Then you drop in a HEI distributor from Ebay, a knock off 80 - 83 carb also off ebay and you are up and running for half the money you spent for everything so far.

Oh you may want to ask this question up in the 80 to 86 truck area as there are more people there that have the information you are looking for.

I recall my coolant temp sensor working at one time after pulling the computer. Do we know the wire route from the sensor to the gauge if it’s direct or will I need a new computer?

I’m currently up and running with the rebuilt carb from National. Should I just be happy she started and clean the wires. I was sure my last harness had the wires for the oil and coolant plugged into one of the 3 plugs coming out the driver firewall.

The junk yard harness would have had the wires for the oil pressure and water Temp .
In your last photo, the connector on the left has 4 wires on the firewall side and 3 or 4 on the engine side. This is where you will find the wires for oil pressure and water Temp.
The photo show that they are connected, assuming the connection is still connected.
So it should work????

Be sure to test your key ON power to the coil positive, engine not running.
