F450 Rr Center Pin - Length

2024 F450 Dually, checking if anyone may have the answer or measured Center Pin.

A year or so back, I removed the Upper Leaf Helper Spring and Spacer Block (helper spring block above leaf pack).
Installed ReadyLift Dual Airbags in a mount above leafs, this required removing the Center Pin bolt and installing a shorter length.

Jump forward, now removing the ReadyLift Air bag kit and installing the AirLift XL7500 Kit that sits inboard inplace of bump stop.
Removing the ReadyLift, and reinstalling the Helper Spring, Helper Spring spacer block, U-Bolt Top plate and OEM Payload Sensor bracket.

I retained all the OEM Parts to revert back to OEM... but you guessed it, the Center Pins.
I do recall they were long pins... about 7-8" in length... I think 7/16 thread size.

Any one have a OEM Center Pin to measure or can measure the F450 setup that has the Helper spring, Spacer block (apx 2" thick), top UBolt plate setup?
I can be a little long and cut... but I'd like to get the Center Pin close to length to make process more smooth.

Ford doesn't sell the Center Pin separately, only with Leaf Pack.
I can easily find and purchase center pins, but I don't recall the length.

I can ensure my spring pack later today, barreling down up the I5 all day.

Why are you switching bags?

Thanks @Doug72highboy , I'm guessing 7" in memory.

I'm moving away from commercial 22.5 Wheels (Ford Lugs, not Semi), 37" commercial tires over to 22" Wheels, LT HD tires 35x11.5 tires Mickie Thompson Baja Boss.
So tired and frustrated with the commercial tire fussiness, poor road groove behavior that at times is pretty radical... looking for a smoother setup for 5th Wheel RV pulling.

The ADF Dually 22 Wheel has a 146mm offset, places tire close to inboard frame & fender.
But the ReadyLift Bags sitting ontop of leaf pack and mounted to outboard side of frame sit's too close to tire (apx 3/8") for jounce / rebound tire movement.
Moving to AirLift Bag places bags inboard, and restores the clearance needed for tire travel within Fender & Frame.
Secondary reason... I think the AirLift XL7500 large diameter dual bellow with internal bump stop may provide a better ride... large diameter provides load capacity with lower PSI. I'll retain the AirIQ Dual Line compressor & tank. And third iffy reason... getting the OEM Height, Overload Spring and Scale sensor back into place just sit better with me.

NOTE: Also removing the Carli Suspension 4" King Pin top and replacing with Carli 2" King Pin top... which places the rear back to OEM height on the F450.
The Carli 4" lifted the OEM Snowplow spring setup by about 2.5-3", the Carli 2" lifts about 1.0-1.5" above stock OEM F450 Snow plow spring height.
I only added 1" to rear block height with 4" Carli suspension to level the Truck... going back to stock rear block dropping rear 1" so truck will retain a close level.
I'll leave the Carli Radius Arms & Drops, since it still improvement with 2" Carli and provides Positive caster without using offset pin bushing in Ft Spindles.

Sorry for the slow show.

Spring pack from top of the overload leaf to bottom of the main leaf is 6 1/4"
The center pin sticks out of the nut about an inch, plus the nut thickness of 1/2" plus some stub out the bottom for the axle perch.

So around 8" minimum pin length to capture it all.

As for your swap, i get ya. I have not bought bags yet for that reason. My preference is the dual bag setup, outboard of the frame. But until i decide if i switch to 20s im not buying them. There a want not a need as my camper is perfectly suited for the truck. Mostly want them for night to night leveling as we spend a lot of time sleeping curbside and tire of blocking up tires to level out. When i do load a boat on the back, the bags would be nice.

As for ride, the double small bags "claim" to ride better so not sure how that result will go for you. You might not run much less pressure as the capcacity of the double bag is probably similar to the big singles. There claim is the "frequency" of the double bag better matches the OEM suspension frequency. Not sure i buy it, but i get it. If they dont fit, you dont have a choice.
