Hello, my name is TJ. Our 82 Bronco XLT Lariat with a 5.8/351w has been in our family for almost 20 years. I started working on it about nine years ago, a little here and a little there. I got a little more serious about it with the last couple years and I’ve done quite a bit to it. I’m in the process of installing the original rebuilt engine and cleaning up the engine compartment. My plans are to eliminate the EC III system, all emissions and EGR components and wiring.

Did it have a VV carb? variable venturi?
How you coming along?
it did have a VV carb and a very corroded original equipment aluminum two barrel intake manifold. I changed everything out to an Edelbrock for barrel intake and Holly 600 CFM four barrel.
I’m about a week to two away from putting this engine back in the truck.
