interior courtesy lights

My 77 has the holes in the bottom of the dash for courtesy lights but I can't find any the are supposed to fit. all I see are for Broncos and cars. would like to use the original style if I can find them.

I put two tag lights with chrome housings in in 1986, that's close to original.

I bought these two on eBay.
When I bought my 1979 new in 1979 it didn't have interior courtesy lights yet they were part of the Ranger XLT package.
So I bought them from Ford, I was working at the dealer at the time.
They were just like these and fit perfectly where they are intended to be..

Thanks, I have a 77 Ranger XLT. Did you find the wiring connector under there?

I have never seen that type of courtesy light under any of my EB's. But I would think they could be made to work under a old Ford truck dash.

No I did not not on my 1976 but they were there on my 1979.
My 1976 is a plain jane Custom. It did have the connectors for the glove box light
and the cigarette lighter but not for the courtesy lights.
I tapped into the switched 12v+ wire from the door jamb switch and that worked out perfect.
I'm happy.

I could not find new correct interior courtesy lights anywhere.
I can't find an ashtray light either.

Usually the under dash lights are on Ebay and sometimes they include the harness. The ash tray light can usually be found there as well.
