I was greasing the zerks under my 2002 today and noticed I could fully turn my front driveshaft with the truck off and all 4 wheels on the ground.

also- the driver side axle was spinning as I turned the driveshaft but passenger side was not? Anyone have any ideas with this?

 

Thats normal.
transfer case is not engaged
hubs are unlocked
front diff is an open diff

 

Like Eric said. That's all normal. It all frees pins until you start locking all the 4wd in.
