Transmission Oil Cooler Line Fix

Transmission Oil Cooler Line Fix
Hi all. Finally sprung a pin hole leak in my trans cooler line. You can see it in the photos. Has anyone done a quick repair on something like this? I plan to put a 6.0 cooler in the truck soon but am looking for a quick fix just to get back on the road. I was going to use pipe cutters for a clean cut and some rubber fuel line with worm clamps. Not sure if anyone has experience.
also included what I think are the correct part numbers from another post on here. My truck is a 2002. Not sure if the fitment is correct.

that is what we used on my fuel line, it is holding 50-70 psi w/o any sign of any leaks.
the clamps.
I used these to stop a water hose leak at 80 psi,
at first I tried the normal Worm Gear clamps on 3/4" water pipe, but they will NOT clamp down around the entire circumference, because of the flat spot under the worm gear.
here are the clamps with the appropriate crimper

Small tubing cutter and yeah I would just use regular hose worm gear hose clamps. I just spliced in a after tank filter setup on my frame rail and did the same thing cut with a tubing cutter on the pickup line and used hose and worm clamps.
I would not use a saw just cause of the metal shavings can get in the line.

I would use hose made for transmission fluid. They have hoses specifically for that application.
Doubled up worm gear hose clamps is how I did mine for the 6.0 cooler swap (different line sizes requiring splicing).
I think CNC Fab sells new hard lines, but it could be fuel, I can’t remember. I’d check in with them before ordering anything for the hard line replacement.
