recomended coolant?
Late 1999 E350 SuperDuty w 7.3 power stroke. Currently changing out leaking water pump after 105k miles. New pump from Riffraff in the mail. What is the current recommendation for coolant replacement?

A lot of us have done the flush and switched to ELC. Others will probably offer some more specific info for your year.

If you have it drained and going to replace it go with elc coolant like Rotella elc or peak final charge and never mess with it again. Do need to flush it though.

As long as you are sure it's late 99 ELC is fine.

According to Gooch early 99 (before engine SN 940614) the adhesive on the injector cups can let go with ELC or Gold coolant.
