75 F-150 horn wiring

OLD QUESTION: My Stella is finally home after her long winter's nap. Ref. colored horn wires w/ wire nuts. Does some one live near Waukesha Wi. that would allow me to study
the horn wires under the hood ? The schematics I find are very vague.

Can’t help with the visuals up close, cause I’m geographically undesirable for that. 😁😎
But a couple of questions first. Do you have a single, or dual horns? Are they on one side of the engine compartment, or both?
Do you have a horn relay, or not?
Most trucks of the vintage did have a horn relay, but some did not. My 79 does not, due to certain other options.
And I presume you’re having trouble getting the horn to work? Or just wondering what the overall layout is?

My 75 does have a horn relay. 3 horns. 2 on driver's side & 1 on the right up by the radiator. What puzzles me are the 2
rubber body plugs. Where do they past through the firewall? What do they connect to ?

One of those has to be aftermarket. Do you have some horn button for the third horn that isn't on the horn pad on the wheel? The stock horns buttons are powered through a wire that's part of the turn signal switch harness. BL-Y for the switch. The horn buttons ground through the steering column.

This is the wiring diagram with the horns wiring75_p07.jpg (3864×2544) (fordification.net)

Just get rid of your third horn and throw the extra wiring and **** away.

Not sure what you’re talking about in this case. Curious though.
Got pictures of these plugs, and what they have to do with the horns?
