ID number is on the driver's side of the top of the frame in front of the steering box. May be hard to see due to rust or other crud. No number on the cab UNLESS California assigned a vin, then it a metal tag riveted to the body and it should be on the cab usually on the driver's door pillar.

Only the frame stamping is the legal vin #. Most DMV's have a guide as to where each model might have been stamped. Unless issued and applied by the state, any # on any other part is not a valid vin number since all other parts can be replaced. I have no idea where it might be on a 33, this is the wrong forum for that year, try the earlier forum that includes '33.
