Hi guys. I'm looking for info to replace the timing chain on the L2.3 Duratec engine without screwing anything up. Anyone know where I can find a good video or write up?

Smart people would settle for nothing other than the Ford FSM as a good write up, start to finish, for the job.

why?
my 2005 has 349,400 miles on all original parts. (except alternator & thermostat)
there are 2 chains, 1 for timing, other for the oil pump.
neither the crankshaft nor the cams have indexing keyways. you set the components at TDC and special "diamond" washers/shims lock the various gears in place when torqued.
special tools needed to set the cams at tdc, crank at tdc, harmonic balancer at tdc.
The tools are relatively cheap a TDC pin and cam alignment bar. I had over 200,000miles on mine when I traded it never had a reason to even suspect the chains
