Question Cheap way to reduce lag?

Was reading this in the 1999 - 2003 7.3L Power Stroke Diesel area
I know mine is a bit sluggish on lower RPM and maybe this would work on our trucks too?
Not sure if I have time this weekend but I will try it soon.

Thumbs up

I too was thinking that..even small tunes increase low boost fueling. My tighter 1.0 turbine housing helps too. Unloaded I was seeing 1psi @ 1200rpm in 4th gear.

If your truck has an EBP sensor like the later ones it will work. I think the really early years don't have it.

There's one potential problem with the mod; if your EBP hits 25PSI the computer will reduce fueling since it'll think there's 25PSI of boost and that's the programmed safety limit, at least with the later trucks it is. The early ones may not have that same safety programmed, don't know.
