Ahh very good point. I guess you can but I have never ever seen anthing like that, but if you look at it the supercharger is ran off the belts which takes power. You could and by all means try it. it might be hard to do cause there is nothing of the sort to buy for it , so you would have to do it yourself. But why would you want to do that? reason I ask is diesel create ALOT of exhaust and when combined with a turbo you get FREE power( which you have no lag in your belts). So to get more power from a diesel you simply turn the fuel up and that is what creates more boost, let the exhaust flow better and increases boost even more, get a smaller turbine housing and get even more boost. But by then you might be blowing the heads off. Besides a turbo is more efficient on a diesel than a gasser hence more exhaust anyway.

Didn't Detroit Diesel have some kind of a turbocharged/supercharged 2 stroke diesel? The turbo fed the intake and the supercharger blew the exhaust gas out at the bottom of power stroke. It seems that a diesel would be ideal for powering a supercharger as most of it's torque is available in lower RPM ranges. The typical gripe about superchargers is that they can rob power in the lower rpm's, but diesels have power to spare down low and could benefit from the luftpusha... Pa dutch for air pressure. :-:
