2016 F250 cabin air intake location

Hey all-new here. I have searched forever and hoping someone here can help me. I did figure out there is no cabin filter on my truck but there is a stinky dead mouse smell and I'm not sure how to get to the cabin intake.....I've searched about a hundred ways "cabin air intake location" etc, and find info for every year but mine! Can anyone point me in the right direction? Nothing in the manual, of course...YouTube was no help either for this particular vehicle. Any help is appreciated...thanks.....Ken aka lonely-ford-owner...(typed by his wife...)

My 2006 F350 plow truck pretty much always has a cooking mouse smell, even standing outdide it while it’s warmed up and running. There’s not much you can do about it that I know of other than spraying air freshener or Lysol into your cabin vents and cabin itself.

I do clean out mouse parts and nuts from my air filter housing on a regular basis.

Good luck

The blower motor isn't too difficult to take out. Start there because taki g the complete plenum out is a major task.

Ha! Come take mine out because I can't stand the squeak it has. Looks like a pain to get out.

thanks all, yes we did know there is no filter in the air cabin but something got in there, not sure how and not sure how to take it apart. I'll let him know about accessing the blower motor as an option. thanks again

Its not that bad after you roll back the floor covering and remove the body control module. I fabricated a tool to remove the torx screw that is hidden.
