Try your local dealer. Its heavy as you'd expect so buying online would be expensive due to shipping costs.

They seem to be back ordered around the Houston area, that's why I was asking for alternatives.

Ah....sorry. Problem is most online Ford sites will take the order and later tell you its back ordered. Try Fordpartsgiant.com

Says that part # fits the 11-16 trucks, but not confirmed on 17+. Anyone go this route and can confirm it'll work?

Just get yourself a B&W its cheaper. That's what i did with my 350. It was simple and easy. Plus i didn't have to take the bed off. I believe the factory ford one the bed has to come off or raise up several inches

I bought mine from levittownfordparts.com. It took a few months for the backorder to ship, but it all came including the bed wiring harness.

Here is my invoice:
1 x Ford Super Duty Hitch Prep Package - 5th Wheel/Gooseneck (HC3Z-5F057-B) = $535.15
Sub-Total: $535.15
FedEx (Fedex Ground): $124.32
Total: $659.47

A local 4x4 shop installed the entire package for me for $200. That put me out the door for $859.47. The cheapest ford dealer in my area bid me over $1100 for the parts & labor. The most expensive dealer wanted close to $2k. You do have to remove the bed to install the factory 5th wheel prep, but it's worth it in my opinion. the B&W stuff is OK, but I wanted the sleek "puck" system that the factory unit offers.

If you're OK with waiting for the backorder to ship, it's well worth it to do the factory ford option in my opinion. If you have the equipment to install it yourself you can save a few more bucks.

Good luck!

The only equipment(tool) you need to install it is a special socket for the bed bolts other then that hand tools is all you need.

Remember the bed bolts are a 1 time use per Ford.
At least that is what I have been told?

I did the OEM bracket on my 17. Put the exact same bolts back in it, torqued to spec, have't had any issues in 2 years plus. I'd like to stick to the OEM unit for this 19, for ease of swapping the hitch from truck to truck. I was open to the Reese, assuming it was similar, but can't confirm it's fitment on the 17 plus trucks. I'll keep looking around.

BK39, Did you ever find a factory hitch or confirm if the Reese hitch will fit on 2017+ trucks? I'm trying to find a factory hitch and all the parts sites are starting to say it's discontinued.

Thanks
