Hood Vibrations

I tried to find some info/older posts on these newer trucks having hood vibes.

Mine does it at random, but it seems more pronounced with head winds. I’ve made adjustments to the hood, but the first time it did this I immediately pulled over thinking the hood was going to fly up. I also recall someone who mentioned checking the sealant on the seams of the hood stiffeners; mine seems ok.

Has Ford announced a TSB for this, if so I can’t locate that either. I’m tempted to add some pins with retaining clips for piece of mind.

Anyone have ave any experience in this area? Anyone went to the dealer with this? Any additional advice or something I’ve overlooked???

No known fix for it. We’ve had a few threads on this issue so you’re not alone. I agree it is pretty concerning when you’re on the freeeay and you get a strong headwind.

25k miles since September, mostly interstate and in traffic with semi’s going 80-85, the hood acts like it’s held on with duct tape.
