360 camera view stay on screen while shifting out of Reverse?

My wife's Edge will keep the reverse camera on after you shift out of reverse, and will then shut off when you go over a certain speed. I'd think this would be useful while maneuvering a trailer into a tight spot or similar. Any way to do this on our trucks? I've looked a bit in the settings and didn't see it.

Sure can. Turn on reverse aid delay in your truck settings. Menu all the way to the right when scrolling. Keeps it on until you hit like five MPH.

This is great - didn't even know that was an option!

Its nice to put it on that setting for hooking up a trailer. I have found the 360 camera to be my favorite option on the truck.

thanks! I can't wait to try this out. I have to do a lot of adjusting to get my trailers in the right spot in the backyard, I think this will be a great help along with the customer mounted rear camera when I get it installed.

I tried making this change and it works to a point. I selected the camera on the CHMSL rather than the default of the tailgate while backing up. After putting it in drive (it kept the CHMSL camera) and then reverse again it defaulted to the tailgate. Since I hookup to a fifth-wheel the tailgate camera does me no good. If anyone knows how to keep on the high-mount camera please let me know.

Isn't that the truth. I had several buddies try to talk me out of the cameras because I was having trouble finding a truck with the options I wanted but it was worth the wait. By far my favorite option on the truck.

I didn’t have any trouble at all. I told my rep what I was looking for, he smiled and said, "Let’s get this ordered!" 😆
And, yes, it was worth the wait. The 360 Camera was what first caught my eye with the '17s.

Took me awhile to figure out it's the settings using the Sync touchscreen in the center of the dash, not the settings scrolled with the steering wheel buttons and viewed through the steering wheel. . Got it going now. Excellent! Thanks!
