Tow Status screen everytime I start the truck

I towed my RV about 800 miles, now every time I start the truck, the default screen is now the "Tow Status" screen, even with no trailer attached.

Before towing for the first time, it always started up where I left it. Not sure what changed, I have not changed anything nor can I find a setting to set the default screen on the main display.

How do I get it to go back to the last screen that I used, when it starts?

Thanks,

Go to towing setup screen. Select “no trailer”

That worked. Odd that it recognizes when you hook up a trailer but not that you unhooked it.

Thanks!

I just got my truck last week and havent towed with it to verify, but the word on the street is that it will recognize the lack of a trailer if you unplug it with the truck running. I’m gonna try that the first chance I get.

If the truck is running when you disconnect The trailer it will recognize that it is no longer there. If you shut the truck off and then disconnect the trailer the truck thinks it is still connected when you start the truck next time, so you have to go in and manually disconnect it in the screen. It took me a couple times of towing to realize what was going on with that.
