What's the deal with 1997 tail lights?

So been trying to get a new set of tail lights for my '97 f250 but the ones I received from ProtuningLab.com seem to be the wrong ones and are not the correct shape. After much research, seems many online shops have the same shape and labeled for a 97 f250, although are not the correct shape.

I had Recieved the lights, went to install them and was quite disappointed they were wrong.
Am I missing something here? Why is seemingly every website have the taillights as a different shape?

See pics

Looks like you got lights for a F-250 light duty which used the F-150 body and bed. Specify a F-350 when ordering to avoid the confusion of light vs heavy duty F-250's.

^^^^. I usually look for body parts for a 96. This saves any confusion as the f150, 250, and 350 are all the same

Btw, let us know what kind of lights you get. LED options for OBS trucks are very slim

Exclamation What's the deal with 1997 tail lights? - There are TWO totally different types!

Correct:

E9TZ-13404-C Right & E9TZ-13405-C Left .. Styleside/Bronco Tail Lamp Assemblies / Available from Ford.

1990 F150/350, F(Super Duty) & Bronco from production date 10/89 // 1990/96 F150/350, F(Super Duty) & Bronco // 1997 F250 Heavy Duty, F350 & F(Super Duty).
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wrong:

1997/98 F250 Light Duty & 1997/2003 F150 is not the same! This F250 uses the '97/03 F150 'sloping nosed' body.

Yep! I never tell someone on the other side of the counter that I have a '97 F250. Guaranteed to get the wrong part.
