4x4 Issues

Good Morning, All.

I recently purchased a 2008 F350 PSD (I know, I know...) with ESOF 4x4. When I turn the dial absolutely nothing happens. No lights, no noises, no 4x4. Along with that the tow/haul mode, and reverse sensing system are not functioning. I checked fuse 35 in the passenger kick panel that has these items listed but found no issues. Has anyone else ran in to this issue? I imagine that there is another relay or fuse somewhere else that needs to be checked buy I do not have an electrical manual or fuse map.

Thank you for any help!

Switch itself could be bad. Many threads on this. Was it working for the prior owner? If you bought it from a dealer, maybe you still have a warranty.

Thanks for the replies! Would the switch being bad affect the tow haul mode and reverse sensing system, as well? Or do you think those are coincidental issues?

i’m no expert, but i’d think they were separate issues.

For the reverse sensor system, the sensors die fairly quickly. I have a 2006 and 2011 F350s with the reverse sensors. Had multiple sensors replaced on both trucks when the warranty was still in effect. Once the warranties were over, i didn’t bother replacing them anymore. They’re dead in both trucks now. The 2011 has a back up camera though which works fine.

There's also a power distribution box under the hood. Don't have access to my owners manual right now...so not sure if there's a fuse for these systems in there or not.
