Cost to wrap front and rear bumpers?

Got an estimate to wrap both front and rear chrome bumpers in 3M for $595 before tax. Too much? Fair? Thoughts?

Depends on your area. I'm in Idaho and I have a quote to wrap both bumpers and the grille for $600.

Why would you wrap the rear bumper? FYI, got my front bumper 3M clear wrapped for $175, and wrapped the grille's two chrome bars in gloss white for $100 (took the bars to them without the rest of the grille).

Sounds fair. Your wasting a ton of the guys time with wraps. Keep in mind, the factory bumper is at any Take off yard for $300 tops. So you could just buy a bumper for that and keep it in your shed.

You could do it yourself for about 100. I'd recommend just black. I just plan on replacing the bumper when it's ugly.

Want to break up the massive amount of chrome a little bit by wrapping front and back bumpers either body color or black. Love my truck but it’s just too much doggone chrome.

I vote black. Vinyl fades, never matches. (even Oracal)

Take a look at colorX labs. They claim to have color matched vinyl and make your color based on your paint code. Its a little more expensive, but worth it if you have any color truck other than black or white. I ordered a sample for my truck in the blue jeans color.

Sounds about right for your estimate. I have had many different things wrapped and its not cheap, but still cheaper than getting them painted.

I agree......Wrapping the hood would be great but wrapping a chrome bumper seems like a waste because the chrome is more resistant to damage compared to the painted bumpers.

Unless one just does not want any scratches on the chrome bumpers then i`d say go for it and get them wrapped.

I feel you. I really want body colored bumpers but I am not wanting to buy a Platinum to get it. I was thinking of wrapping as a solution but just don't know if its worth it or not. I think $500 to $600 sounds about right.
