Help finding a Black Front Bumper
Does anyone have any suggestions for where to find a black front bumper to fit a 2000 excursion?
I've switched the rear bumper to a black 08 bumper, switched the wheels to the cragar soft 8 and replaced the grille with an 05 xl version. Now I need to get rid of the remaining chrome.
I'm looking for options to have a black bumper without spending a ton of cash for an aftermarket bumper. Willing to herculiner the current bumper, but I haven't heard of much success covering chrome.

Painted black or like an XL bumper?
An XL bumper doesn't have the lower plastic on it nor the provisions to add it.
I've read about guys who have stripped the chrome and painted the bumper.
You best bet is probably an automotive recycling yard.

I just took mine off of my 2004. ITS FOR SALE!!!!! Call me , we'll talk price!!!!! 941-929-3658 Im in South Florida but we can talk. I replaced my bumper so the stock, black one with the chin dam is up for sale as of last week.

Thanks for the replies. I'm in Hampton Roads, VA so I'm guessing that shipping will make the bumper deal expensive.
SD26's post gave me a good idea. I might be able to do a swap with someone locally that has a painted bumper, so I could just cover the painted bumper with herculiner.
