First off, thanks to all of the contributing members on this site. It is a huge wealth of information and is much appreciated. Now to the point. Lately my sunroof has had difficulty opening. When I press the button to open it, it drops down with a thud (like it's sticking) then stops. I then have to press the button again to have it slide open. Today however, it will not open, even after it drops down. Anyone else having issues like this? Of course it is under warranty and will be taken to the shop, just curious what it may be.

 

Mine had an issue when it opened I heard a loud pop then it would not open. Took it to the dealership and found out it had broken a slide rail. Warranty work took a day to replace the broken rail.
