If your looking for roughly 2" of lift on a stock 4x4 f150, most get the Moog CC844. If you just want to clear your 31" tires on a 2wd truck, you would probably get enough lift from a CC824.

im trying to get as much lift as i can out of it. is the Moog CC844 a spring i buy from autozone or advance or is it something i can get from the junk yard off of another truck?
Both. max lift will come from a C844S spring. be warned that higher spring rates comes a harsher ride. If you want to get 2" of lift without rattling your teeth out, pro-comp makes a lift spring that will raise a 4x4 2" and it only has a 400 spring rate, so it's not much tougher than a stock f150 spring.
