302 Engine Rebuild HELP!!

302 Engine Rebuild HELP!!
Hello,
I have an '86 F150, with a V8 5.0L, EFI 302 Small Block.
My dad and I just got done with a complete rebuild, and we just put the engine into the truck.
We tried priming the oil pump, as it said in the manual. By turning the engine over without the spark plugs a couple times.. and we tried.. and we tried.. and we tried.
Now we've checked the oil level and are about at the max fill line.. yet we're not getting oil pressure.
Can somebody help us?? We need it!!
